Caution: Care should be exercised when using adhesive products around a flush urostomy especially when associated with megaureters and the absence of a urinary reservoir. Rarely, clinical reports have been documented of the presence of adhesive in the renal collecting system of these patients. Should a mass be detected in the urinary tract, evaluate the continued use of the adhesive product and initiate appropriate clinical management.
